We are pleased to say that the new roof is now nearing completion. On the main roof we decided to pay for the installation of built-in solar panels, which made sense while the roof was being replaced. We have received a grant from East Midlands Airport Community Fund to help towards the cost of this, and are also awaiting to hear if we were successful with another grant.
Once roof over the doctors surgery and rooms that side of the hall is complete, the hall will be air tight again. Work inside will then commence after a period of time to allow the hall to dry out.
